Portsmouth – July 25, 2015 – WISeKey, the bespoke cybersecurity company, today announced that it has renewed its support for the ORACLE TEAM USA as its Official Fan App Supplier, as the team prepares to defend its title at the 35th America’s Cup, in Bermuda, in June 2017.
The WISfans© ORACLE TEAM USA app is designed to provide fans with a unique mobile experience, facilitating full interaction with the U.S team. The app, which is available for download at http://wisfans.com/otusa (and the Apple App store and Android Play Store), allows fans to follow social posts from the team, providing even those without social media accounts with a way to engage in real-time interaction with their favorite crew members.
An upgraded version of the app, currently under development, will include features such as a digital Fan ID card, more subscription options for fans to view additional content and interact with members of their favorite team.  Also, the upgraded version of the app will allow sport clubs to securely capture data from fans and use the data to directly engage with them to promote events, products and other club related brands.
In addition to ORACLE TEAM USA, the list of iconic sports brands powered by WISeKey’s WISfans© includes the Solar Impulse project, FC Barcelona, CR Flamengo, and the Swiss National soccer team, among others.
