Founder, Chairman and CEO WISeKey
Carlos Creus Moreira stands as the visionary Founder, Chairman, and CEO of WISeKey and SEALSQ, both of which have achieved prestigious listings on NASDAQ. Prior to establishing WISeKey, Carlos amassed over 17 years of invaluable experience as a United Nations Expert on Cybersecurity and Trust Models, contributing his expertise to various UN bodies including the ILO, UNCTAD, ITC/WTO, World Bank, UNDP, and ESCAP from 1983 to 1999. His unique blend of high-level international diplomacy and cutting-edge technology expertise has positioned him as a leading authority and thought leader in the digital era, particularly in the crucial areas of identity protection, trust, and security.
In 1998, Carlos transitioned from his role at the United Nations to fully commit to WISeKey, a venture he initiated in 1999 with a vision to foster a safer, universally accessible internet as a tool for prosperity. His strategic foresight and commitment to personal computing security have been pivotal to WISeKey's success.
Moreover, Carlos is actively engaged in various non-profit and philanthropic endeavors. He is the Founder and Secretary General of the International Organization for Secure Electronic Transactions (IOSET OISTE.org), a Founding Member of the Geneva Government's "Comité de Pilotage Project E-Voting," and holds memberships with the UN Global Compact and the WEF Global Agenda Council, among others.

John O'Hara
Chief Financial Officer
John O'Hara, a Chartered Accountant, serves as Chief Financial Officer of WISeKey as of July 2024. He also currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of SEALSQ, WISeKey’s semiconductor company. Prior to these roles, Mr. O’Hara was International Controller for WISeKey from 2018 to 2023. Mr. O'Hara has over 20 years' experience in financial and accounting roles across several sectors. Mr. O'Hara has worked in the professional services, leisure and restaurant industries for companies such as Marsh & McLennan Companies, Deloitte, Yum! Restaurants International and Chelsea FC plc, in finance management positions, specializing in Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Transformation and Sarbanes Oxley. He qualified in accountancy with Grant Thornton in the UK. In addition to his chartered accountancy qualification (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), UK, Mr. O'Hara holds a BA in Economics from Durham University, UK.
Bernard Vian
General Manager of WISeKey Semiconductors
Bernard has more than 25 years of experience in the Secure Semiconductor Industry. He started his career at Gemplus (now Gemalto), where he held multiple positions in sales and marketing, and opened Gemplus' San Francisco office in 1996. There, he shaped Gemplus into the 1st EMV Payment Smart Card program a ‘ VISA Smart Breakthrough Program ‘ in the United States. He joined INSIDE Contactless in 2002, then a startup company pioneer in the NFC technology, as Vice President in charge of Business Development. He positioned INSIDE as a leader of NFC payment chip supplier in the US. In 2013, after the acquisition of the smart card division of ATMEL, he was appointed Executed Vice President in charge of the Semiconductor Division of INSIDE Secure.
Nathalie Verjus

Nathalie Verjus, a Chartered Accountant, serves as Company Secretary and Financial Planning & Reporting Manager. Ms. Verjus has over 19 years' international experience in compliance and finance, project management as well as operational roles. Ms. Verjus has worked in the security and manufacturing industries for companies such as Johnson Controls and NACCO Industries, in both finance and operations management positions, in the field and at EMEA headquarters. She qualified in accountancy with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, UK. In addition to her chartered accountant qualification (ACA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), UK, Ms Verjus holds an MA in International Business Administration for Bournemouth University, UK, and a Master in International Business from the EDC Paris Business School in Paris, France.
Sixtine Crutchfield-Tripet
Art Director
Sixtine studied at the University of Denver, USA for a Bachelor of Mass Communications including History of Art and History of Theatre. After graduating, she landed her first job with the Jan Krugier gallery where she became a proficient art dealer before moving to Australia. Sixtine worked for the Australia Council, Brown's Mart Community Arts in Darwin, NT where she was responsible for the arts development among the local and Aboriginal Communities. She returned to Melbourne and among other things, Sixtine taught French at the Alliance Française. It is there that she met Ken Armstrong and together they built a futuristic eco tourism facility on Phillip Island. She then completed a Corporate Law degree from the University of Sydney, NSW. Upon returning to Geneva with her family, Sixtine opted for a career change and was employed as a client relationship manager at Banque Edouard Constant. This period included the introduction of the Euro currency and concerns relating to the Y2k/Millenium potential IT bug. As part of the Bank's training programme, Sixtine was given the opportunity to study at the Geneva Business School. This was the start of a long relationship that continues with the Geneva Business School. In 2003, Jan Krugier invited her to become Managing Director of the gallery. It was during a business trip to Moscow to set up an Art show that Sixtine was asked to manage the event and she decided to leave the gallery once again to take on the new challenge. After that, she was involved in the development of ArtbyGeneve, the Moscow and Salzburg World Fine Art Fairs, Art & Jewels Baku, ArtMallorca, as well as the development of two state-of-the-art Freeport facilities in Singapore and Luxembourg. In August 2020, the Geneva Business School should have celebrated its 25th anniversary. Instead, to embrace the next quarter of a century, Sixtine designed a new MBA specialising in Fine Art International Management (FAIM) whereby art experts and market specialists will share their professional experience with students who can attend courses online or in person in Geneva. The MBA programme will commence in September 2021.

Mr. Moreno has more than 18 years experience in Sales Engineering, Sales Management and Business Development. He has worked extensively on strategic projects for both national and multinational companies in the financial and industrial sectors throughout his career. He has held executive roles in the areas of people management, sales coaching, market analysis, establishment and implementation of account plans. In his role in WISeKey, he oversees commercial relationships with strategic customers and helms market analysis and go-to-market strategies He has also contributes to the the design of solutions and architectures in projects related to infrastructure, data, applications, security, and dentity management, and the overall evolution of WISekey's product suite. He oversees complex selling related to new technologies.
Pedro Fuentes
CSO & Product Manager eSecurity
Pedro Fuentes, Spanish, he obtained a high degree in Computer Science by the Polytechnic University of Valencia and he's a senior specialist in information security, and PKI in particular, with more than 20 years of active work in these areas as a certified professional (CISM, ISO27000, MSCP and others). Pedro joined WISeKey in 2009 to reinforce the eSecurity Business Unit. Previously he worked in Siemens as responsible of the cybersecurity product line for southern Europe, managing key projects for national identity and leveraging eGovernance services by the integration of eSecurity techniques in business processes. In WISeKey he's responsible of the PKI platforms and product strategy, leading projects and customer support worldwide.
David Briffod
Legal Associate
David obtained his law degrees from the University of Geneva and the Columbia Law School. He is a Swiss qualified attorney and is fluent in French and English. Prior to joining WISeKey, he worked at PBM Attorneys-at-law as a junior associate where he advised clients on contractual and commercial matters and represented corporations and private individuals in proceedings before Swiss courts and authorities. He is a member of the Art Law Foundation.

Computer Science graduate from University of Webster and Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Andreas Moreira joined WISeKey in 2017 as a consultant in distributed ledger technologies and cryptocurrency. Since then, he has taken over a role of project manager for WISeKey's line of solutions and leverage his passion for innovative technology to oversee the development of the WISeKey suite of applications.
Jonathan LLamas
VP Decentralized Strategy
Mr. LLamas, a serial blockchain entrepreneur and topic expert lecturer at top European Universities, brings nearly two decades of strategic and entrepreneurial experience to WISeKey. He began his career in Investment Banking before shifting into the FinTech space 10 years ago. He has since built multiple platform businesses and led digital strategies for a Swiss Financial Institution. His extensive experience within highly regulated environments brings the level of professionalism and scalability WISeKey is committed to provide to the Web 3.0 industry.

Dylan is 31 years old, born in 1988 in Geneva. He started is accounting career as a consultant and an auditor where he worked during 6 years in both Mazars and TMF Group on different projects and for different clients. Then he joined WISeKey in January 2018, working as a group accountant and preparing the consolidation for the group. Dylan holds a degree in Business administration from the HEG Genève, major in Finance, where he graduated in 2011.

Before integrating Wisekey, she was working as administrative Assistant in the legal department at CareFusion. Veronique Faoro is graduated from Commercial School in 1985. She worked as accountant from 1985 up today. Before joining Wisekey in 2016, she worked in the accounting department of Fiduciary and of various newspapers as of Tribune de Genève, le Temps and Ringer.

Fabien is passionate about mechanics. After obtaining a CFC on motor mechanics, he became a workshop manager and then quickly director of a motorcycle dealership for 5 years. Fabien is determined to offer his versatile skills to WISeKey, taking care of Office/Datacenter needs and supporting maintenance teams and service providers.

Gweltas supports Wisekey Product roadmap and Marketing activities around Embedded Security and Trusted Services like Digital Certificates / PKI platform. He has an extensive experience in the high-tech industry in Asia and Europe in domains such as mobile industry, M2M industry, consumer electronics and robotics industry within Softbank Robotics with the launch of Pepper robot in cooperation with Foxconn. Most recently, he was the Smart Home Business Unit Director of Otio & BeeWi, where he was driving the roll-out of a complete IoT Smart Home solution with Microsoft.
Jean-Pierre Enguent

Jean-Pierre Enguent is a key technology leader with 30 years of experience in Microelectronics. He joined Wisekey as Head of Development for Semiconductors Solutions, including R&D, System Engineering and Global Security. Prior to joining Wisekey, he spent 7 years at Inside Secure, 6 years at Atmel and 8 years at STMicroelectronics, leading teams of engineers, scientists and technicians. He worked towards the development of Secure Microcontroller product portfolio with more than 80 patents, publications and significant contributions to ISO standards. Jean-Pierre has been found-member and strategic adviser of InSeal, a France based company providing operating systems for contactless applications to a variety of customers in the payments market. This Start up has been sold in 2006 (Nasdaq) with a total growth revenue higher than 150. Jean-Pierre has received a French education from the “Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieur (ESIEE Paris)” with an Engineering Degree in Microelectronics.

Thanh Nguyen started working for AIC a Vietnamese company in 2000 where he developed parallel computing and network security systems for the Ministry of Defence. As an expert in investor/internal/external/government relations, Danil is working with national, regional and municipal governments, large enterprises, start-up and investor communities on accelerating and securing digital transition around the world and applying newfound capabilities for solving biggest challenges in health, food and environmental ecosystems. Danil is most passionate about unlocking both the entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial potential of individuals and organizations to drive positive change in the world. During his 12 years with the World Economic Forum (WEF), Danil served on the Leadership Team in the Centres for Global Industries, Global Technology and Regional Strategies. He was posted in Geneva, New York, San Franscisco and Beijng. In his last role, Danil built a network of Centres for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Asia with offices in Beijing, Mumbai and Tokyo. Danil oversaw all APAC operations for the network and worked closely with EMEA and LATAM hubs of WEF's Network for Global Technology Governance. He led interdisciplinary teams with a mission to maximize the benefits of science and technology for society by partnering with governments, companies, civil society, and experts from around the world to co-design new approaches to technology, business and governance. Concurenlty, Danil served as a manager of the Global Future Council on Agumented and Virtual Reality. Previously, he has managed councils and working groups on Cybersecutiry, Future of Computing, Anti Corruption, Conflict Prevention, Emerging Markets, Digital Policy and Regional/National Competiveness as well as Industry Governors groups. For more than a decade, Danil have been working on national digital/cyber strategies, internet governance and evidence-based policy making. He led WEF's engagement in the Netmundial Initiative, developed and strengthened its relationships with top policy makers, international and regional organizations (UN, ITU, EU, OSCE, ASEAN, AU, OAS, APEC, etc), development banks (IADB, ADB, AfDB, AIIB, EBRD, NDB, etc), c-suit executives of Fortune 2000 and founders of most innovative technology pioneers, leaders from the top media, academic and philanthropical organizations. Prior to WEF, Danil served as a Terrorism Prevention Expert, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime where he focused on delivering technical assistance on cybersecurity, digital platforms, AML/CFT/KYC and international cooperation in criminal justice. He has also served as the Senior Legal Advisor on Hate Crime for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. He had stints with the International Organization for Migration and SMEs in the manufacturing and media industries. Danil is a graduate of Shandong University (LLB), Vienna Diplomatic Academy (MA) and the Global Leadership Fellowship (MA)- a collaborative program run by the WEF, CEIBS, INSEAD, LBS, Wharton School and Columbia University. Danil earned multiple diplomas in Business (MODUL Uni, Wharton), Regional Studies (Central European University, University of Wits, National University of Singapore), public diplomacy (University of Malta), corporate governance (Wharton School and Financial Times), cybersecurity (Harvard). His served as a fellow at the Berkman –Klein Centre for Internet and Society at Harvard, on the Advisory Boards of Stanford Cyber Policy Program, Korea Media Governance Lab, Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice & Human Rights, Cornell's Emerging Markets Institute and the World information Technology and Services Alliance. Over his long career he has served on the boards of more than 10 organizations in Switzerland, Singapore, China, and Japan, including WayRay AG, a Swiss-based international company specializing in true AR (augmented reality) holographic displays for the automotive industry, and Standa Swiss AG, a company that develops & manufactures opto-mechanics, lasers, precision positioning & motion control devices for science & industry.
Furthermore, Mr. Monnier served as Managing Director of Schindler Lift Singapore where he oversaw the company’s operations in five countries. He was the Executive Director of Greater Geneva Berne area (GGBa), the economic development agency representing six cantons of Western Switzerland. Mr. Monnier is the Founder and CEO of Eurêka Cybertrading SA, a company that specialized in e-business across Switzerland and Japan.
He is also a well-recognized interviewer of business and political leaders and has conducted over 500 interviews for Swiss and foreign media. He has authored six books on e-business and economic development in Switzerland. He received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
